New HiRes Classical streaming

Yet another new provider of 24 bit streaming for classical music.  I'm shocked that a company of the stature of Naim haven't made this available on their streamers yet, it's no more than we deserve, surely it can be done overnight if Sonos can do it etc etc etc.     Seriously it looks a little cheaper than the others around and seems to focus solely on classical

Hmm at one level its great news - however like the other new service, Classics Online, I am wary of adaptive bit rates for hifi use. One really needs to determine your bandwidth due to music encoding rather than vary the bandwidth due to connection variability. If necessary use QoS and/or increased buffering - not constantly vary depending on throughput conditions. Yes adaptive has its benefits in mobile - but not IMO opinion fixed line bandwidth with HiQ audio

So I would like to see the ability of disabling the adaptive control - otherwise I would be wary.
