Uniti 1 with firmware 4.1 experience?

Hello,

has someone here already updated his uniti 1 to the latest firmware 4.1? How is this version working? Are there any regressions or new problems? Are there some advantages why I should upgrade?

No experience of a Uniti, but I did a Unitiqute 1 and it worked fine. Couldn't get Spotify as it was the older hardware. Frankly, it didn't seem to make any positive or negative difference compared with the previous version, but I think it's generally good practice to upgrade to the latest.

I thought that the 4.1 firmware was only for people who had the 24/192 upgrade board installed?

As Phil Harris explained me, old devices can be upgrade, too. They just do not offer the Spotify support:

I upgraded my Uniti 1 recently. I don't have the 24/192 board and have no need for Spotify.

I haven't had any problems or noticed any difference but always like to keep up with the latest version.
