Revo SuperConnect - standalone or connected to Naim

Posted by: Disposable hero on 21 January 2015

Dears,

Would anybody who owns a Revo SuperConnect share some experiences of using it? It is at the top level of price for DAB/ Bluetooth/ Internet radio units and appears to include an optical digital output, which should be suitable for wiring up to a Naim DAC.

One concern however is general stability, which seems to be quite common for such devices so densely packed with technology. There are suggestions that the user interface may lock up or crash, requiring depowering and repowering. If this happened occasionally that is understandable, but preferably not daily.

If you have a Revo SuperConnect, either used standalone or connected up to a Naim system, would you mind doing a quick review please?

Many regards

I have a Revo K2, which hasn't been particularly troublesome. The search interface for UPnP isn't too great on the machine itself. The iPhone app isn't exactly brilliant for that purpose either. All relatively stable though.
