SuperUniti and which phonostage?

Posted by: Bloom on 23 January 2015

The SuperUniti 'misses' the input for a StageLine.

Any suggestions to solve this matter?

A Flatcap with StageLine is one option, but rahter expensive for this phonostage.

I own a Nottingham Interspace Junior with Ortofon 2M Black cartridge (MM).

Thanks and regards.

Rothwell Rialto is bloody excellent for the money.. I couldn't justify anything else at over twice the price until I went for the Urika. It was stunning with the ortofon mm and more than did itself proud with the Linn Kandid mc

If you don't want to spent too much, Rega Fono works well for me with LP12 into Superuniti. Plenty of other options around that don't need a separate PS. I have to admit I've never heard of a Rothwell Rialto.

The Rothwell Rialto is a gemstone!

Google Rothwell Audio.. And see their reviews.  mm and mc Selectable and further upgrade able. Approx £380 and for me (I auditioned a number of stages inc Rega ) .. it was stunning  IMHO

built by a guy with passion and really knows what he is doing , and has been for 20 plus years

Thanks to you both.

Both phono stages do get great reviews.

And the price is all right for both amps.

I'll will take these two amps on the shortlist for now.

The Rothwell is not that easy to get in The Netherlands, only via an online website. Rega has some dealers in the area.

I'll let you know.
