Hi All,
Since yesterday I can"t connect to the Naim App with my IPad..Up to that moment I changed nothing to any settings. I can acces the home screen of the app. Which gives me two possibilities. Adding a MUSO, which I do not have, or finding "My rooms". Which seems logical to me. After a while the message "No room found is displayed, And that"s it. End of the line.
Things a tried so far: Download the app several times.
Updated software ( which was not necesarry because the latest software was already installed.on the NAS, The Router and the ND5xs and Ipad
checked all the connections.
Reset the Nas Router, and ND 5 XS several times.
Reset the ND5 to factory settings
All the apps on the I pad are working except for the Naim app. It works if I try to acces the ND5 at the frontpanel. No problem.
Any suggestions are very welcome.

I vaguely remember something like that on my system, but it was a while ago & I think I fixed it quickly hence why I can't remember.
Try this
- in the app
> settings (tool gear) > Input Settings > Multiroom = OFF
I think that fixed the find my rooms thing (I think)
I've got iRadio, UPnP, USB & a digital input enabled
All other inputs OFF

Mine has done that from time to time, sometimes finding the ND5XS (strange concept calling a source a room!) after a period of time - which has been known to be tens of minutes, or not at all. Never having found a cause my reaction simply became to turn everything off to reset and try again.
However, I think I found the cause a couple of weeks ago, as it hasn't been a problem since (touch wood):although ND5 is on wired network, ipad obviously isn't, and I have two wireless routers, one acting as a booster at the rear of the house. Although everything else seems to work on either connection, the Naim app will only find the ND5 reliably when the iPad is connected to the main wireless router.
No idea if that helps?

Have you tried doing a full restart of your network. i.e. turn off ALL wired and wireless devices on your LAN. Then start your router, and wait until it's fully fired up. Then do the same with all other devices, one at a time. No guarantees, but I'd say it's worth a try.

Have a look at Phil's 19 December post about upnp discovery issues under the featured topics. You should not have to enter the address manually, so clearly you have got something set up wrongly. If you can'not resolve it yourself, have a word with Naim themselves. It should all just work.

You can use this Naim post a month ago.
i have installed this app ant it's working perfectly and give lots of details of the network.
for example, spotify didn't work the other day and from looking at the app I saw that bonjour isn't functioning on the nd5xs so I just turn off and back on spotify option in nd5xs instead of starting to boot everything.
