Do Optical Cable's Have Loose Fittings?

Does anyone have problems with their Optical cables having a loose fitting in the optical output on their Sky + HD box's?

My optical goes in, but doesn't click in and if touched falls out of the socket. Are all optical cables like this or do some have tighter fitting connectors than others?

Mine fit just fine in both Sky boxes. They are not loose in any way.

It shouldn't be that loose. If I were you I'd buy another one - don't bother with anything expensive, a cheapy will do just fine.
