Upgrade NAC-N 172 to a HIGHER level

Hi ALL, I own a NAC-N 172. I wish I could buy a single box preamp/network player of the NDS range. I am tired of needing 28 separate boxes for each unit PLUS add on power supplies! Why not make better components with internal power supply. If 99% of the very high quality manufacturers can do it, why not Naim. It is almost misleading when I go to buy a component then find the power supply is worth the same as the player! Not to mention the aforementioned hifi rack which ends up looking quite odd because it's so big. Any thoughts?
