You're right, but it did look as though the heads had a port for an ignition plug (spark or glow I'm not sure) but I think they were just blanked off.

The coin trick reminds me of the VT250 Honda (oversquare, 90° V twin) which was so smooth that from 3000 to 9000 rpm you could balance a 50 pence coin on edge on the tank.  I know 'cause I did it.

Amazingly I can balance a coin on my Stag's V8 when it is running at tickover.

A feast of engineering and craftsmanship. Does anyone know what's the piece of music being played? Wonderfull crescendo.

...and my car does not run on compressed air either, just ask my local filling station.....

Yes its compressed air - or at least some form of gas

The problem with scale model engines is you cannot scale down nature, carbon particles are the same size in a 5cc engine as they are in a 500cc,  small engines get seriously plugged & quickly.

You're a talented mechanic then:  a Stag that runs!

With 50pence pieces acting as air cooling vanes! 3 or 3.5 litre Bruce?

Original Triumph 3.0 V8

It does not overheat either due to appropriate care and minor fettling.

Looking at the credits at the end of the video it's ;

The theme from the film "the Help" by Thomas Newman

Google Amazon for the soundtrack

Typical me!  I never stay long enough to watch the credits once the film is over .

Thanks Graham.

Always stay for the credits there are often "extras" during or after.
