Very sad. There has always been a small percentage of the uncivilized. But as our numbers grow so do theirs with this result on our cultural heritage.

I'm surprised the Rome police weren't more proactive. This went on over two days. Along with what happened in Paris it's a bloody disgrace.

The damaged caused is obviously regrettable, but it doesn't take too much intelligence or imagination to work out who instigated the trouble. The Italian police.

 

Google "Italian police treatment of football fans" and see what comes up. I'm sure there are a few Man United fans who'd describe the Rome police as barbaric.
