Physical Graffiti HD download problem

Posted by: John3 on 24 February 2015

Anyone else had a problem with the HD download in the super deluxe boxset? I entered the redemption code and received an email with a link to the download but the link did not work. I contacted Warners and they promptly emailed me a new link which worked fine.

However, on looking closer at the downloaded files I noticed that tracks 1-15 (i.e. the original album) were only 44.1kHz/24bit whereas the companion audio tracks 16-22 are full HD 96/24bit as advertised. I have contacted Warners again and they are looking into. Not sure if I was sent a bad link or if this is a more general problem. I note that the download site is currently offline so it maybe a wider problem.

No problem here but I got mine from Hiresaudio.com on Saturday. I can confirm all tracks are 96/24.

Mighty fine it is too. I think this may be the best of this current batch of remasters so far

I've had exactly the same experience.  The original link did not work and the customer support supplied link is for 44kHz files for the main album instead of 96kHz....I'm also waiting for a response from Warners. There is at least one post on the LZ forum with the same problem (just found when searching for information).

Glyn, I was wondering if you had heard anything from Warners yet? I am still patiently waiting.

Only a message yesterday saying they are looking into it...I will contact them again if I don't hear something by the end of the week.

I've just tried downloading again from the customer support supplied email link I was sent and it is still 44.1.

I received an email from Warners late last night with a replacement code for the original download site.

I tried this just before leaving for work and left it downloading - the download size looked bigger so I'm hopeful all tracks will be 96kHz.

Same here. All downloaded fine now. Not listened to yet but if the previous 24/96 downloads are anything to go by these will be my go to versions.
