Hi, I have a number of such files on my HDX. HDX signal goes into Naim DAC and from there into Supernait 2. The files are being played as I can see from the HDX display but the DAC does not seem to forward them to the Supernait. The files are ok, they all play well directly from the HDX.
What could be the issue with these files and the DAC?

Are you using coaxial digital or toslink (optical) digital between HDX and DAC?
Some toslink (optical) are only rated to 24/96. I can't speak specifically to your components as iam not familiar with them.

Hi Brubacca, this could be the reason. I am waiting for my NAIM DC-1 cable BNC-BNC to arrive in a few days and I am using a standard Toslink cable in the meantime.
Will wait for the DC-1 to arrive and should be fine then if you are right.
