NAS NDX Integration

I would like to experiment streaming from NAS to NDX less UnitiServe to determine if a sonic difference exists. How do I get the Naim App to see all the UnitiServe ripped and downloaded files with the US out of the system? I use a QNAP TS-212 with two 2TB drives in Raid mirror.

Are the files you have on the NAS WAV files ripped by the serve? If so the NDX might not be reading them. Possibly you need to convert to FLAC?

It is not because they are WAV files. I am able to stream my WAV files from my Synology.
I think you need to activate a upnp server on the QNAP.
Twonky is on the QNAP and I can see a few hi res sample files I downloaded via NDX not on the US.
Have you looked in 'Folder'? When I switched from HDX ripped files to an NDX I discovered the WAV files not fully tagged in there, but they were invisible in the 'Album' folder.

Are the US ripped files on the QNAP and has Twonky been configured to monitor the directory/folders these files are in?
Its been a couple of years since I set the NAS up so I need to dig into it a bit. Maybe Twonky needs some tweaking.

More like, Twonky needs some twashing. See if you can install a proper server on the QNAP; Asset or MinimServer.
Agreed. I've looked into Asset and MinimServer before briefly. Time to get serious.
Thanks Bart.

Do that, be sure your tagging is all good . . . and you should have no issues!
Understand Naim has their own tagging system with WAV within the US so Should I convert all to FLAC prior to?

Highly recommended to do that! Let the uServe convert its library from WAV to flac. The flac files will be tagged properly.
