This is why I did not post this on Hifi Corner.
Due to some in house movement, speaker swap and furniture re-arrangement as well as some other reasons only to be known by yours truly I’d like to keep CD5si, XS2 and HCDR powered without connected to speakers for some time. Besides, I really do not want to power them down as XS2 and HCDR have recently come on song. Of course, I not mad enough to unplug/plug spkr cables whilst the amp is on.
Googling and forum search did not yield any meaningful result.
No speaker load = trouble; no worries it’s doable though not recommended or something else?

This causes no problem at all. Used to work as a dealer and we kept everything powered up on display regardless of whether speakers are connected.
Only thing I would say is that Naim power amps will warm up again in a couple hours. You certainly don't rollback the effect of burning in. 24 hours shoud be enough to warm up CD players and streamers.

I don't see any point in keeping it powered if its not used "for some time"
If that time is a few days, OK leave it on, but more than one week, I would power off, it will take an hour or two to warm up again.

Switch it off it will minimise any chance of an accidental short on the speaker terminals.
As others have said warm up time is very short.
