Unicute plug for spdif out

Posted by: Claus-Thoegersen on 18 March 2015

Hi,

Today I got a Unicute. I have been able to set it up so it Works fine when using the front headphone plug. I am trying to connect the cute to my Ndac, but I am doing something wrong. Can  anyone explain wich plug on the back to use. And since I am blind it is not a solution to look in the manual. The cable I am using is tested and Works fine when I use it from my ns01 to the ndac.

The digital-out of the Unitiqute is located towards the top in the middle of the back panel (oben leicht rechts der Mitte, wenn man vor dem Gerät steht). The plug type is BNC.

Thanks, so I am using the correct plug, but no sound is getting through for some reason.

Have you enabled the digital output?

Note that not all Qute inputs are passed to dig out, e.g. analogue i/p.

No it seems spdif can only be activated from the handset, so I will have to get sighted assistance to do that.

Fortunately it is only a  kind of second system.

I'll probably be laughed at for this, but you haven't pressed the mute button on the front? Reason I ask is that I did when doing the firmware update, then spent 15 minutes in panic until I found out.

Cheers

The mute button has no effect on the digital output of the Unitiqute.
