Most improved knob 2015 is quite an accolade.  Well done.

Looking at the link I thought Paul was trying to compete with Tony Lockhart's jokes.

'Knobfeel' indeed.

To be serious for a moment. It's a lovely knob and everyone wants to touch it, but if a wine accident occurred on top of the mu-so, would the wine find its way inside the unit, requiring a return to base for cleanup?

... and yet when I consult the *Safety Manual*. I find 6 warnings and 2 cautions and even a warning to ... Heed all warnings – All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.

Also, I'm instructed to remember This product can be recycled. Products bearing this symbol must NOT be thrown away with normal household waste. (No chance of that).

But more worryingly, Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.

But not a word about wine.

...well I stand corrected, there is the ... WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on apparatus.

You should never play with your nob whilst drinking wine. Very surprised that's not in the manual to be honest

I was under the impression everyone is controlling Muso with their i-devices. Some accolades for Naim's apps might be of more practical value, but great for the knob.

Knob close up shot (never thought I'd get to say that with a straight face):
