How many bikers do we have on the fourum

This is a picture taken during my last Harley rebuild in the late '90s, a '76 FXE. Behind is the bike I restored beforehand, a 1980 Sturgis. My daughter still has a small scar on the inside of her leg from when she burnt it on the exhaust.
Gorgeous bike Steve , hope you find a nice Bonnie .
Thanks Pete. I don't know whether to buy a basket case as a project or one in reasonable condition. Still plenty of time to decide.

my Ducati Multistrada in a random belgian village on a sunny day...
It's a real monster, you can ride it to the south of France in one haul.
Commuting in Brussels however is a different thing. Because my toes can barely touch the ground, I tend to drop it a lot...
Lovely bike the Multi , I tested it twice and was torn between it and my Adventure . I opportunistically bought the KTM but it was close .

It might not be your style Steve but the new Bonnies are lovely too with better brakes and suspension ???? Just a thought .

I am what is known as a fair weather biker or in other words, a softie who hates getting wet.
My bike is a 1960 BSA GoldenFlash 650cc Twin and I have had it for about 4 years. Before that I had a BSA B31 350cc which I regret selling.
Here is a youtube clip on the GoldenFlash.

Based on comments you've made over the years I think we're close in age. Love your bike and glad to see you're still riding. I figure I've got a decade or so to go here in S. California. Maybe a bit longer if I move to a more sedate location.
cheers
After a Honda CB900 which broke down beyond repair (well, within budget or my technical skills) I bought a BMW R1200S. Almost bought a Ducati 999 but the costs of maintenance are a bit steep.

Beautiful! I love the European paint schemes. Here in the US it's black, black, and dark metallics.
I'm fairly new to the biking world, but have Honda CBR1100xx.
I also work for a motorcycle OEM, so get to ride Victory and Indian bikes on a regular basis.
A Guzzi T4 has been my daily transport since 1997, though it's no longer quite what it says on the tin.
I only own an old gsxr 600 srad at the moment and she's looking a bit tatty but it starts and goes every time. A little accident (not done riding my bikes) meant I speant months off work and with no income I ended up selling my other bikes. The one I miss the most is my Harley sportser. I could of sold my audio gear but being stuck indoors meant I was using it so bikes went instead. Nearly a year before I got to ride again after physio. Been to a few showrooms lately and the shinny stuff is calling lol
G'day folks
My biking is a bit like my hifi - if you find a brand you like, then stick to it. So it's a Naim throughout system, and Ducati bikes. Currently a Multistrada 1200 S, a Monster 1200 S, and a 1974 750GT, which is a truly terrible motorcycle compared with the moderns, but so much fun to ride. Funnily enough, I don't own a car!

I ride a 2015 Ducati Diavel (Carbon Red) with the full Termignoni exhaust system. Can't wait for the summer

Fair weather biking ? Surely not ??
Ha! Everyone knows it isn't proper biking unless you get frostbite
Fair weather always preferable but sometimes I love being out on the bike in the rain , it can be quite serene so long as I'm geared up properly and there is no smell of diesel .
Honda Fireblade - 2009 - here. Just love riding it, but it's getting harder to find the time as the kids get older. Aiming to do a bit more this summer if at all possible.
Oh, and the MotoGp season starts today with some promising Brits in.
Triumph Speed Tripe 1050 here.
Been riding since I was 16 - so that's 37 years
I've previously had a Garelli Tiger Cross, Honda 125, Suzuki X7, Yamaha RD350, then after a few years off, a Triumph Thunderbird, T509 Speed Triple, Trophy 900, Sprint ST. Not all at the same time I hasten to add!
I can't believe someone stole my bike cover last night , the one time I didn't put the chain through the cover as I was rushing . So annoying !!!!!!

Had friends with the RD350 and the X7, both great bikes. My wife had the TZR250 whiih was also great in its day
I have a little Ducati 695 Monster - not particularly powerful but great fun.
