They'd have been fine if they drove on the left.
Sorry, Winky.
I have a sense of deja'vu
Wasn't it al caused by a lycra-clad cyclist, taking a Left-on-Red ?

Of course.
I'd not heard of this guy before, but he certainly has his moments. At other times he just seems like a giant dick.
Oh come on Winky !
I used to visit Athens frequently in the mid-80s and their smog was worse then, than Paris now.
Athens had the same solution, odd cars one day, evens the next. And you don't need me to tell you what the eventual outcome was, but...........................for the benefit of others........
............every family/person with two or more cars ensured they had at least one odd and one even car..
Back in 1967, as part of my civil engineering degree studies, I worked for the Swedish government highways department. During my time with them, I was involved with their change-over from driving on the left, to driving on the right. It was all carefully planned and took place at 05:00 one morning in September.
A friend of mine later found himself working in Nigeria for their equivalent highways department when they changes road sides. For various reasons including having a much larger population, they decided to stagger the change-over over two separate weekends. On the first weekend, all the odd numbered vehicles would change sides, whilst on the second weekend all the even-numbered vehicles.....................................
Looks like you were there and captured the moment...............
