Thermal Magnetic Circuit Breaker vs Fuse

I recently replaced what I thought was a simple on/off switch on my Manticore Mantra Power supply. When I removed it, I discovered it was actually a Thermal Magnetic Circuit Breaker. (always wondered why it didn’t have a fuse).

Given the fact fuses supposedly degrade sound quality, why don’t hi end hifi equipment manufactures use Thermal Magnetic Circuit Breakers, or do they.

Seems a no brainer, Switch and fuse versus switch

The argument over fuses v CB's is one of those never ending never proven one way another & on & on etc etc. Also TCB v MCB v RCCB v any & all other CB variants Then add hifi grade fuses v vin-ordinaire fuses v silver plated v it must be good 'cause it costs a fortune.

Then add the other side that say mains cannot possibly affect SQ .....

........ I don't think any method can be proven to be better than any other.
