Muso radio problem

Hi all,
I stream bbc1,2,4 & 6 mostly, WiFi through BT Infinity. Sometimes the radio just stops, then picks up briefly, then stops, & cycles like this to utter frustration. It happens with a wired connection, & Spotify streams fine. It only happens occasionally, but drives me mad. Can be triggered by other devices being used on the network I think, but as I say, Spotify no troubles. Is it just me? Considering buying a runner for the reliability, which seems a bit poor show! Other experiences / a solution sought...
