AIFF 24bit/88.4kHz plays?

Dear All, for some experiments I'm downsample SACD to AIFF, 24 bit, 88.4kHz under OSX with XLD.

When I try to play it I listen nothing but the app reconice it correctly, just don't start to play it!

In the Mac I can listen it without problem.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance for any suggestion.

Some Macs (as well as PCs) are unable to playback 88.2 kHz files natively.

No dears, sorry. I save a transcoded AIFF and then I can play it with the Mac, I mean the internal speakers just for checking it works, but then the same file don't play streamed from tha NAS trough my Naim.

But it should, or not?

FIXED.

My mistake, in XLS the 'decimation' to sub-frequency is done by default in 32bit.

I forgot to check it!
