Goodbye

It appears that people can openly discuss their experiences with Chord STA and other third party accessories but my contributions seem to be censored and deleted.
I will now find another home to share my experiences. My user name will be the same.
Thank you to everyone who has been of assistance and I wish you all the best for the future.
I received a post on my wall
What exactly is your "wall" in this context?
Edit: Never mind, found it. I've never had a reason to look at "my wall" in the 8 years I've been on this forum. But I learnt something today! Who knew we had "walls"?
I am having a bad week so I have decided to threaten to leave. Please post some nice things here massaging my ego and begging me to reconsider.
I don't understand. Every time I break the Forum rules people tell me I have broken the rules. Every time I do it the same thing happens. This is very frustrating.
Thanks in advance
Bruce
PS I have not found 'my Wall' yet. When I do I will probably bang my head against it.
Bruce,
Please reconsider and don't leave!
If you do, you'll be back in hours, have to make contrition, and change your avatar. I'd miss the bunny.
Bunny? BUNNY?
God people are so ignorant around here. Why is it only I seem to know everything?
Bruce
Wow!
You threaten to leave and now I'm the one apologizing.
Sorry, hare.
Well done, I feel so ashamed
Joe
We should be on stage together. Bruce and Joe's Transatlantic Revue. We'd clean up.
Bruce
Clean up, yes.
Having to mop up all those tears of sympathy we'd garner.
Bruce & Joe.
Don't quit your day gig yet.
P.S. Bruce I recognised Albrecht Dürer's signature.
may i humbly make a suggestion?
please arrange with your dealer to visit the Naim factory at some point. i would suggest 'soonish'...
this may turn out to be an eye, ear and mind opening experience for you.
whether you will be able to teach Naim engineers how to design cables that are, in your view, more mechanically sound is something that you can report back on once you have made the visit.
Can't wait...!
enjoy...

I have postulated whether it is possible to design a connector that pertains to complete decoupling. I will have a chat with my brother and see whether he would be interested in designing and constructing a prototype on his 3D printer. I have a feeling that it may be necessary to re-design the DIN socket from to ground up to achieve the desired outcome. My brother has a busy schedule but I may propose the challenge as a hobby that he can work on in his spare time.
I also have a busy schedule this summer but I will try to arrange a visit to Naim HQ. It would be interesting to speak to their streaming department because I am educated in Computer Science at undergraduate level. After leaving university I joined the emerging digital interactive television industry where I designed and implemented a trigger scheduler for the UK broadcasters: a 'red button' appears on the screen to allow users to load interactive content. The design was based on Alan Turing's concept of the finite state machine. I am now pursuing the healing arts but I still have the mindset of an innovative and creative software engineer. I do not know if Naim have encountered any software engineering challenges but I would be happy to share my thoughts with them (the state synchronisation between the streamer and app could be improved).

Hare today, gone tomorrow...
It's a pity you hadn't planned that visit to Salisbury a lot earlier Minh as i'm sure they'd have appreciated this sort of input when designing the Statement amplifiers.
Still they have a Statement streamer to design so perhaps there is still time and people are always moaning about the app...
I would like to point out a forum bug. At the moment all of my posts are moderated. I would like you to know that if I edit the post after it is approved it does not go through another stage of approval. This means that I could edit the post and write anything I like after the post has been approved.

I would really like to know what they plan for the statement level streamer. I may be able to help them design an algorithm that sets a new standard for streaming technology. I have always loved innovation.

Looks like when you have sorted Naim you can straighten my field out too. Excellent.
Bruce
..as the post already is there for some time, a long goodbye....
Think of it more as a new beginning.

very busy man, of many talents, wasting a lot of valuable time on this forum. as it happens, "healing arts" and "innovative and creative software engineering" probably go hand in hand.

Hey I think there's a couple of jobs there I could fit...
Is 54 too old to be changing career? ;-)

What's this "WAll" thing ? Have you found yours yet Bruce ?
Don
I think I'm surrounded by it.
Bruce
I've got a wall.
Got a nice ladder too.
How did we ever cope before such genius walked among us? I suppose ignorance is bliss.

You have made a wonderful connection between my new pursuit and my old career. The human body is the most amazing biological creation that exists. Man can only try in earnest to create a machine in his image.
ATB Minh
Is that machine going to be anything like a subwoofer? I note you are back with the Hi Fi Forum in full flow.
