The very first record you ever heard?

Somehow I had a turntable and a 45 of "Another Brick in the wall." I played the stuffing out of that.  Houston, Texas ~ 1979

~ 1975?

Before that (no clue what year) I remember the flimsy, thin plastic records that came with a book that was usually read to a classroom of children and/or a slideshow.  Things like "The Jungle Book."  I still have some Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs flimsies, but they are creased, scratched and filthy.  They do indeed play!

As for an LP, I sure remember getting a KIZZ album.  The one with the 4 pictures of each member, and then you could buy all four and get the large picture of each member on the other side in a set.

I only needed one:  Peter Criss

He was a cat for one, and coolest looking, but also the drummer!  My first conscious purchase of vinyl, based on looks, and the song from Kiss - Destroyer - "Beth."
