apologies if you already have seen this , but What HiFi has 25% of Qobuz sublime , if any one is interested. It sounds good to me and works out cheaper than the  yearly HiFi subscription alone

(just enter the code FFC87B2E and you're good to go). I removed the link in case it is not allowed in the forum

Hang on a minute. Apparently Qobuz are about launch high-res streaming, though initially at least, only to certain android devices.  Weird decision.  File format not specified in anything I can find, and there is no info on the english site, but something is about to launch, on the 15th June I believe (a significant date for them).  Also, looks as though the Scottish company will be supporting the hi-res streaming option soon.

And....Tidal unveils 'bit-perfect' desktop app for Windows and MAC.  Hooray!  Things are looking up folks, maybe they do care about audio quality and not just tits and punching people.

Qobuz Sublime is the first joint subscription that combines streaming and download.
It offers more than 28 million music tracks with unlimited streaming CD-quality (16-bit Flac, 44.1 kHz) and a permanent reduction of downloads in Hi-Res 24 bits (up to 60% discount).

Indeed, streaming in Hi-Res 24 bit requires a minimum of 3mbps. Optical fiber is not essential to stream full quality!

I noticed that Q had Pink Floyd Pulse labelled as 96/24 yesterday, makes no difference for me at the moment as I use a Sonos Connect.
