Spotify failure for Mu-So and ND5XS

Recently SPOTIFY quit working with both the Mu-So and my ND5XS. These devices just show "Error" or "Failed to contact Spotify Server". This occurred for both after several months of (reasonably) problem-free operation. Both are hard-wired to my network administered by an Apple Airport Extreme/Time Capsule.
I have been looking for info on this forum and noted references to problems but no solutions. A technical statement about Bonjour and routers did no assist as all my relevant devices show correct Bonjour service.
All Naim device firmware is up to date and no updates correspond with the dual failure of Spotify on these devices. Perhaps Spotify themselves changed something in their app which I missed? Any help available?
Otherwise I'll just cancel Spotify service which is currently a waste of $11/month for use with NAIM hardware.

I don't know about Muso or Spotify but my ND5-XS, my Unitilite and my UnitiCute 2 sometimes show an error like this when trying to connect to iRadio or to my Unitiserve. Rebooting the relevant streamer always fixes it. You probably tried already but if not, try rebooting them.

JohnW, you could maybe contact Naim Support directly? This is the best route if you have an issue as the Naim guys don't always read the forum. I'm sure ther is a simple explanation. Good luck!

I had this problem last week on my Muso, solved by doing a reset on the Muso, pin hole on side of the unit.
Also had the same issue on my NDS, again resetting solved it.

Now a new problem!!!
Constant dropping out of the spotlight stream from the MuSo and ND5XS when connected from Spotify app. If I just AirPlay from me iDevice the I get constant stream of music on the MuSo but that obviously won't work for the ND5.
Naim-via- Spotify does seem to be flea-ridden!

Are you wireless or wired? If wireless and your router has QOS feature,you could try giving the Naim units top priority. This worked for me on my previous router (Netgear R7000), my Mu-so is some distance away in the Garden. Since upgrading to a R7500 this is no longer necessary.
