Alabama Shakes 2nd album

Has anyone tried it?

I really liked the music on their first album, but thought the production was terrible. It's better on a lo-fi system that covers up the problems, for me at least.

I'm hoping the new album, Sound and Colour, is better but I'm not brave enough to take a punt on it.

Much better production this time around. I would say the consistency of song writing is better on the new album, only 1 or 2 "throw-aways" compared to double that on the first. This one sounds a lot more polished, which can be a double-edged sword. Nonetheless, if you liked the first then I would highly recommend the new album.
