Mu-so v1.2.0 firmware - BubbleUPnP now works as server and control point

Posted by: Tom_W on 15 June 2015

I am pleased to report that I can now use BubbleUPnP on my Android phones to stream music over UPnP from my phone to my mu-so.

i.e. it works as a server for music on my phone, and also as a control point for the mu-so.

This means I can now play my lossless files without needing a NAS. The handset volume button also controls the mu-so volume correctly.

This wasn't working previously, so i'm happy :-)

That's great news. Check out Bubble's "Cloud" services - including Tidal - you can pick up a lot of streaming services and stream via UPNP via the Muso's renderer.  For my system, (Nait xs via NDAC) it sounded better than an optical connection from a airport express.
