How to stream my itunes library on my naim uniti2 (in wifi)?

Posted by: Flipmode77 on 27 June 2015

Dear All,

I have a naim uniti2 connected on my internet box with an ethernet cable.

My PC is connected to this box in wifi.

My question is : how to listen and to stream (in wifi) my itunes music on my naim uniti2 when i use my pc?

I don't know how to set up my pc for that (Windows 8.1).

Thank you in advance for your help !

Kind regards,

You'll need to run a UPnP server on your network, and point that server to your iTunes library as a repository of music to be streamed.

As you run a PC, I would strongly recommend Asset server from the dbPoweramp people as your server to install.

Read the manual for the server.  Or simply look in its setup menu.  Of course it varies from server to server . . . but all servers need a library from which to serve.
