Naim remote with KDS

Posted by: AMA on 12 April 2011

I was pleasantly surprised to see that once the playlist is loaded by Kinsky one can use Naim remote to manipulate the tracks (stop, play, pause, next, prev, FF, RW).

Scores another good point for KDS

I too  was pleased to discover the remote with my Nait 5i-2 could perform basic control functions, such as track skipping etc with my Sneaky Music DS.

Is that a sign for Naim and Linn to start moving towards each other?

Try a linn DS player through Naim amplification and make up your own mind, you will see or rather, hear!

I have tested all of them many times including dynamik PS.

Sneaky and Majik is out of my scope of performance.

ADS is a very good machine but was bettered by nDAC/XPS by a margin.

KDS is in a different league and one of the best sources I have ever heard (with only one glitch which is probably system dependent).

I didn't hear ADS/2 but most responses suggest it's still not as good as KDS.
