N-server APP, the "Albums" view is not allways showing cover art !

Posted by: kiba on 12 April 2011

Using I-Pad, N-server APP together with Unitiserver SSD: When cover art is missing I use the Naim Desktop Client - right click on the album title in the Music Library, open up the album, then the "properties" box. , then use the "upload cover art" function to load a pre-found .JPG file of the wanted cover.

This is working - only problem is that the art cover is not shown using the "Albums" view (only the std Naim-cover), when selecting an album for playing,  the correct art cover is shown, Why, do I miss something, any missing steps for me to do???

Hi,

I've encountered a similar problem when using the new n-Serve app with my HDX. The cover art of the latest albums did not show up on the "Now Playing" screen. I've rebooted the HDX several times, but that didn't work.

In the end, I've deleted the app from my iPod Touch and installed it again. Problem was solved!

Regards,

Michel

One of my CD's included two disk's. I missed cover art, and used DTC to upload the exact same .JPG image. To my suprise one cover art is shown under albums with corret cover, the other with the "Naim cover art" Both are correct when playing. I have > 2000 CD and when using the Album view, it's so much easyer to reconize a corret cover, than reading the cover title in the Naim cover

Did you try deleting the app and installing it again as I suggested?

In n-Stream settings select "Clear Image Cache". This will force the app to refresh it's image cache and will pull down all the new images you have added with DTC.
