listening to new music

 When I buy a new album not heard before, I will put it straight on the cd player or tt, listen to it once to get a feel for it and then leave it in its special place on the rack, I will not touch that cd again until the next saturday. This is my preferred way of getting into something new and for me it works.

Is this familiar to anybody else out there?
