Naim Firmware upgrade 4.3

Posted by: Dutch Naim User on 01 July 2015

Device: UnityLite, CAT connected

Upgrade to 4.3

Result: Time correct now (!) but:

Very slow response volume button in Spotify Connect. If I move the button on my smartphone (Android on same network as Unity), it take some seconds before the Unity takes it over.

Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Edwin

Hi,
Try deleting the app from your device and reinstalling.Strangely I had a white line running through the centre of the app only on my iPhone. After deleting and reinstalling all was ok.

If you will delete you will delete all playlists..resep application could be enough (as in my case). i would try my way first

Hi Martin,
Valid point well made.I don't use playlists so it didn't cross my mind.

I'm not sure that reinstalling the app always deletes playlists. There is, though, a workaround if you don't want to chance losing them. Get a second iOS or Android device (maybe just borrow one if you need to), put the app on it, and save the playlists to it. Then you can transfer them back to the original device if they're lost.

Or, if you have a UPnP server, create the playlists on that, then the Naim app can't delete them.
