Superuniti randomly muting

My SU has recently started muting itself quite randomly. It streams fine for a while, then just goes into mute mode. I have reset to factory settings, been through all the muting options but cannot find a solution. Seems like a fault. I have found the odd reference to this issue on the forum but not much. Is it a known problem with the Naim logo switch?

 

When I went to the dealer it was fine so hard to diagnose. I shall return to the dealer and ask for Naim to fix it, but if you know of any easy fix do let me know.

 

I recently did a firmware upgrade but the issue began before that.

 

The SU is a few months old and therefore under warranty.

Unfortunately I don't think there is any alternative than to send it back to be fixed. It's like a car - that annoying noise always disappears when you take it to the garage.

I had a reply from Steven Hopkins at Naim Support saying it may be the Naim logo switch causing the problem. Intermittent problems are a real pain. I've been playing the SU for an hour or two with no problem.

Hi Steve, I have the same problem with my few months old SU. It appeared few weeks ago. Have you any other plan than send it back to repair ?
