Moving 25,000 MP3 files

Here's a dumb question, which I accept could be asked on a number of different forums. But you're all lovely people who will almost certainly know the answer...

I batch-converted 25,000 music files into MP3 to play on an iPod in the car. Stupidly, I didn't send them to the Add Automatically to iTunes folder (actually I didn't know it existed).

So, what's the quickest way to get 25,000 files into iTunes?

[I'm using Windows 7 64-bit and the latest version of  iTunes.]

Thanks in advance.

Just copy the files to the “Automatically Add to iTunes” folder and they will be automatically imported

Drag and drop, or copy and paste, to the folder should work. All the same, I'd try one first and make sure it works, then maybe do them in batches just in case it takes forever.

Thanks both - I think I've got it sorted.

I don't mind it taking a while now that I've got everything into the Automatically Add folder. What was taking forever was listing the contents of the other folder in Windows Explorer. Anyway, let's see what happens...
