Roger Waters Amused To Death vinyl finally!!

My Analogue Productions vinyl copy arrived in the post this morning. I ordered it from Roger Waters' website. Nicely packaged and pressed. Initial impressions from a short listen are that the SQ is excellent with good reproduction of the original Qsound creating a wide soundstage. At £30 this has turned out to be a bit of a bargain.

I've only ever heard the CD and the Qsound imaging and soundstage is quite impressive. Does the dog barking at the beginning of the record sound like he's in the yard next door?

I ordered the standard vinyl version which arrived today. I have also ordered the Analogue Productions version which is due for delivery in few days. The thing is that the standard version I received today is labelled Analogue Productions so I am wondering if the version still to arrive is in fact the same as the one I received today. Amazon shows them as different catalogue numbers and the pricing is different but I wonder if they are really any different?

I bought mine from the Roger Waters' site. It's 200g and has Analogue Productions in the dead wax, along with all the relevant AP and Quality record pressing stickers. A friend of a friend received a note from Amazon today saying his Analogue Productions order has been cancelled. I haven't heard of anyone yet who has received a Legacy version pressed in Germany as was originally announced.

PS Joe, Fido sounds like he's just outside the window.

My Amazon standard version has the AP & QRP stickers - i think this must mean there is only one version.

Had mine on pre-order with Amazon arrived today with all the AP stickers on the plastic cover, however, back cover over bar codes indicates Columbia, Legacy, Analogue Productions Quality Record Pressings in very small type not certain what copy I have got! Must say it sounds fantastic.

I bought mine from RW's website too and I have to say it sounds bloody good.

A long wait but well worth it!
