Was Sepp Blatter the technical adviser? I hear he's a bit of an expert on lady footballers' shorts.

At least, being women's football, they won't be subject to voyerism by actual spectators.

Man United don't actually have a women's team.

I don't that that the "women's" shirts are intended to be part of a football player's kit - or even replica shirts - but just shirts based on the new United home kit that are specifically designed for women - they even seem to be a different shade of red.

Speaking of voyeurism, the "strict uniform regulations" of women's beach volleyball certainly did wonders to increase its popularity as a spectator sport

It's a great idea.

I'm sure the moob sporting first team squad members will jump at the chance of wearing one.

So Winkyin flipping Canada.  Why weren't you at the recent women's World Cup? Looked like one or two spectators when I was watching the games on telly.  Had it been in Australia I would have attended and would not have required skimpy outfits to get me there.  Plenty of entertainment on the field, that I though was right up there with the men's game, and a great atmosphere both on and off the field.

Yes, there was one distracting lines lady in one of the games that I clearly recall was not getting enough airtime, but she was fully and appropraitely dressed.

I'm not that much into watching sports. I did watch a little of the WWC on the TV too, but, to be honest, I thought standard of play was pretty poor. I was actually expecting them to be much better than they were. Unusually for women's soccer, they did get a good spectator turn-out, but as I said, it's not my thing.

Someone once said to me that they wouldn't get the same level of interest without the uniforms. I'm not so sure .

..the interest is in the intriguing signals, the rest is more in the background......

...looks like the same signal....

Same signal, rather two 'ends' of the spectrum.

Butt obviously, both well conditioned athletes

It is enough for the low cut

Posted on: 18 August 2015 by joerand

Seems the focus has trended towards the 'hi-cut'

and on the other end of the uniform

There is a fixed amount of cloth...if you cover up cleavage, you have to uncover booty.

Frankly I prefer less butt, moderate cleavage...and sprinkle in a little mid-riff.

The chest area is often used to control the ball is it not ?  As well as "shin" pads they'll be needing "chest" pads as that area is quite sensitive.
