Neighbor hoods watch USA style ?

We have a rash of violence against cops...politicians are trying to stir up race war here.

In the USA you cannot kill an unarmed black man, even if he's committed a crime and is currently  beating you to death...trying to take your gun.

However, cops can be killed at will...hardly any news...no protests...no comments by the current administration.  Anything in the news except the important stuff here...I use UK papers to find out what's going on.

Thanks for your press.

@ Sneaky Snaic,

News articles over the last couple of years would suggest otherwise.  Are you implying these have been made up by stirring politicians ?

https://www.odmp.org/search/year?year=2015   From the info from this site assuming it's accurate there doesn't seem to be any increase in gunfire deaths for policemen in the last couple of years.  2015 seems a lot lower than normal.  Under the Bush administration it looks to me it was lot higher.   Interesting article from The Guardian even if it does overdo it with stats. http://www.theguardian.com/us-...d-by-police-analysis

karlos,  spot on as they say across the pond.

Here's a particularly good "made up" report, with political spin all over it:-

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-32859763

What was interesting, or I should say most laughable, about it was the technicality on which the cop was found not guilty.  The old "so many bullet holes in the victim that it's impossible to say who fired the lethal shot" defence.

I think in the USA it's pretty normal to kill unarmed black men in the name of crime prevention / law enforcement.  Without consequence.

Almost as common as receiving violence from the these men.  I welcome you to come to LA, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, NY, Phili, D.C. and not be armed.  You'll want a police escort.

Its a kind invite Sneaky, but I think I'd rather not..... with or without armed guard.  There are still too many paradise spots on the bucket list to get through yet....  ;-)

Thanks for your press.

Just wondered what reports you are getting via US TV and other media about the current mass migrant influx into Europe seeing as the route cause of this mess is down the US / UK foreign policies of Blair and Bush in Afghanistan and Iraq?
