I am listening via SL interconnect for the first time, to my CD rip of this masterpiece. Rip was done via Unitiserve.
This is the best I have ever heard this favourite of mine of more than 40 years. I suppose I can improve it further by buying more SL. But will we ever get a 24 bit version? Likely to be a much more cost effective upgrade, IMHO.

For perspective, it would be interesting to know which CD you ripped (original, HDCD, other) and what other versions your comparison includes (original vinyl?). There is a 24/192 download available in Ponomusic.

I have to ask because I am too curious. Is there any way to get music out of the Pono desktop app and into your UPnP server like Asset?
I could just try and see I suppose but canT be bothered. Wondering if anyone has already done this and can confirm it works or not.

Joerand, it was ripped from a 2009 HDCD, which I much preferred to what I presume was the original CD release. I didn't keep it so I can't give you chapter and verse.
