Vinyl Storage Boxes

I'm on the point of changing my vinyl storage and plan to use the 'Glorious' boxes which seem to be good value, fit for purpose and come in a range of sizes. Some of the usual rack manufacturers (Quadraspire  / hifi racks) have solutions but these are more expensive and seem less flexible.

I use some wire baskets like this for mine. They're $25 a pop at CB2.

As above the Glorious boxes caught my eye Also  the i-cubes which are available in many colours and wood effects, but a bit more expensive than you can get the larger glorious box for.

I use them, they are great, built as tanks! 

I have just been looking at the Glorious 230 boxes and can't tell whether they could be used vertically i.e. with the opening upwards. In all the pictures they are shown with the opening to the side, has anyone got one who can confirm if they are equally strong in all directions. Thanks

They are similar to some I bought from Habitat in the '70s. I still have them in the garage.

I've got a few of the original 70s Habitat Palaset boxes that I'm about to take to the dump, if anyone wants them let me know. My forum name at gmail will do it. 

Ship to Seattle? What color?  My room has all dark furniture, etc.  Pictures?
