Does the NAC-N 272 have an AV bypass?

Looking at the photo's I'm not seeing a switch in the back of the unit like on a SN2 or XS2.  Is this something that's done in software or is AV bypass not available for a NAC-N 272?

Thanks

It's done in software, i.e., it's a unity-gain setting (not a physical bypass). Unity-gain passes the signal through the preamp circuitry / attenuation stage, whereas bypass does what it says on the tin, i.e., connects the output stage of the source directly to the input stage of the amplifier by way of a relay / etc.

Perfect thanks Dave.

Yes, and it is only a matter of user interface. Analog intergrated amps do not have a user interface ( display and keys) , so you need a real switch to enable it. BTW this switch does not touch the signal itself, it only send a command to the micro controler to activate a relay.

It is faster and more convenient than the programming mode of analog preamplifiers.

Thanks Manu.  This totally helps in my decision.
