'No network' on Unitiqute display

Posted by: Alco on 20 September 2015

Hi guys,

This is my first post in the streaming department of the Naim forum.

Earlier this week I stumbled over an ad, where a mint s/h Unitiqute was offered..

I was tempted enough to place a fair openingbid, especially as the seller lived within a 10 minute walk from my place! The seller accepted my bid, so I picked it up friday.

Now, my experience with Naim streaming devices (and the n-stream app) hasn't been all that great tbh, (compared to my trusty old SBT) but for the (little to) no-risk price I got the Qute for, I wanted to give it another try.

Well,...luck seemed to be on my side fridaynight. I hooked up the unit, and... to my surprise the little fella configured itself, within appr. 5 minutes!

It worked flawless since and sonically I've been quite happy so far too, but...last night it seems that I was not allowed to enjoy some music.  I get the message 'No network' in the Qute's display.

So,..no UPNP, no Iradio. The only thing that's working is playing music stored on a USB flash-drive, using the IR remote.

This morning the n-stream app can't even find the qute, saying 'Uniti doesn't respond'  (well, something like that, as I'm Dutch, and I have translated the Dutch error to English)

I never had these issues with my SBT. I have no IT knowledge, so I hope someone can help me out in simple terms what might be the problem (en even more the solution) here.

O, I'm using LMS as my server (tried Asset in the past, but prefered LMS) and I tried restoring the Qute to factory-settings.

Thanx in advance!

Best regards,

Alco

If you google "prepaid debit card" or "prepaid credit card" you get loads of hits, comparison sites etc. no credit history required etc etc.
