Awesome looking Vinyl Storage

A bit basic looking to have in the listening room.

I have to agree, not the most elegant looking. Can't see what's awesome about them. Easy to assemble, yes.

Not banging my own drum but I've made better looking lp storage boxes at my wood working class.

Think I'll stick with my Expedit for now.

Dont think they would fit in my listening room, and sure I would get some grief from my better half!

They look awful.

I use icubes which you can get direct or via a well known auction site - they look much better than these and, if you don't mind paying extra, you can get them ready painted. The only advantage the wax ones have is their carry handles but I found them fairly easy to carry in my arms - extremely heavy mind when full.

been looking at the icubes and was about to buy when they seemed to hike the price, at least on their website. what they like in terms of quality, and taking the weight of 200 plus albums?

I have 1100 albums (LP) that go comfortably in 18 icubes, configured in 4 x 4 and the other two stacked on top of one another. I have a further 340 albums (CD) that go comfortably in 12 icubes that are stacked in 2 x 4, 1 x 6 and 1 x 2 and these all rest on the LP cubes. They are made with 1/2" MDF and are solid. I wouldn't hestitate to stack them even higher if required.

Thanks. I have about the same number of lps in total. Was looking at the double ones they sell, and thinking of buying 6 but sounds like would be a bit tight, if need 18 single ones for that number of albums. Very usefull that you confirmed they stack well, your help is much appreciated. Only problem now is choosing a colour!

I saw yesterday on the i-cubes website that you can buy 5 for the price of 4 before the end of September. Might be worth a shot.
