The reason you need 3 Hugos is: one for yourself, one to give to hafler to appease him for insulting his speakers, and another to give to Wat, who will also be along shortly to berate you insulting his favourite source and speakers in the same sentence.

I have a 555 for the CD's and a turn table

Now you're just showing off!

I thought the Statement Amp might improve the sound, do you think I should try it?

Looking at some of your previous posts it appears that you've heard the Statement previously at Bristol and liked it very much. If you have £100k plus to play with then fill your boots (As my old boss used to say).

I have access to a brand new statement system that was wrongly ordered. It is currently in Nigeria, I just need £2000 in cash to deal with customs issues and I can then send you the system FOC. Please send cash to PO Box 666 Highway to hell post office.

I may be blond but I am not stupid lol think you are pulling my leg

I would like to understand what turns you on in terms of music.  What have you listened to in the last 48 hours?

Do you enjoy listening to your system?  If the answer is yes, than yes you have a good system.

Yes, especially if you are short on room  like in a bathroom.  I keep a Statement and a private email server in all 6 of my bathrooms.

Good thing is Statement works well with the Hugo, Hutter, Magnepan, and Tellurium Q Black.  Do this and you got yourself a real Naim system.

Explanations will come later; be patient.  Now, what car do you drive?

TQ Ultra Blacks work very well indeed with Maggies, although strangely not with Napalm Death on the turntable?

How weird is that?

Sorry, my mistake, I meant to say....what car would you most like to drive?

Kazibabes,

I think most assume this thread is for mutual amusement.  If on the long chance that you were serious, then I would hope you have a Naim dealer who could visit and assess the quality of your system.  Your equipment, while it may pale in comparison to the Statement, is considered by many to be very good.  Small details in setup could cause it to fall short of its potential in music performance.  Any good Naim dealer should be able to help you with this.

There are also a few most knowledgeable forum members who might assist.  There is one called "Polarbear"...

OK, so you're a compromise type.  I wouldn't bother with the statement amp then.
