Music download from Naimlabel

How can I move the hi resolution music downloaded from Naimlabel and ensure it can be understood by UnitiServ? Shall I record it in a CD and RIP again by UnitiServ? Or it can only be read by UnitiSer on an external HDD forever?

Hi

The Unitiserve will find the download forever, provided it remains accessible on your network.

Downloads including naim stuff needs to be available on the network.

If you have only a mac or PC this is ok create a share folder called music and stick it in there. if you are on mac you need to enable SMB sharing in the preferences.

If you have a NAS create a new shar called music and stick it in there.

The serve will pick it up.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. The files will be in the NAS or whatever external HDD not the HDD in UnitiServ.

Thanks anwyay!

Indeed, only cds ripped by the serve live on the serve.
