35mm processing and printing (colour)

Can anyone recommend a decent lab?

Will need to be postal I guess. Will be using Portra 800 for a change instead of B&W (and Ilford don't process colour) so need a firm who knows what it's doing with the faster stuff as opposed to snappy snaps type things

Can you not do it yourself?

If its colour all you need is a good iMac an good printer.

Not really

As per the thread title and the text within, I'm referring to 35mm film processing, not digital images...

I've had good results from Max Spielmann in the past, they still advertise 35mm processing and have 200 stores in the UK.

If you are not in the UK or want more choices a Google search should give you plenty of options.

Metro in London?

I'm v happy with Boots for my C-41 process Kodak BW400CN but I accept they may not be so good for your Portra 800. But they might be.

A quick google search has revealed PDQ Imaging in Watford.

They are a Kodak Premium Lab etc.
