Hello
Is it possible to change the destination directory for ripped files from an uniti serve with Nserve application ?

If you mean through the n-serve application run on an IOS device then I think it isn't.  But you should be able to do it using the Windows desktop controller.  If you mean n-serve running on a MAC, then someone else needs to advise you as I don't know about that.

As David says, it is not possible through the nServe application (on iOS or Android), but you have four other possibilities to do this :

1. Via the Windows desktop controller

2. Via n-Serve running on a Mac (under the Maintenance menu)

3. Via an external monitor + mouse (or keyboard) plugged into the UnitiServe (or a touch screen)

4. Via a web browser : http://nssrvXXXX, where XXXX is the number printed on the back of your Serve.

Options 3 and 4 provide essentially the same interface.

All will allow you to nominate a music share (on a NAS) as a Music Store (where the ripped CDs are stored).

David, Jan-Erik

Thank you for your responses.

The uniti serve is at a friend.

In the past I've used the windows controller...

The solution 4 is probably the simplest way for me.

Thank you very much

You're welcome. I accept St-Nectaire, Cantal or fourme d'Ambert.

Just to be totally pedantic, a 5th option is to type the Unitiserve's IP address into a browser.....

Cool. I'd forgotten about that.

Only a true Frenchman would accept payment in cheese!!!

Not just the French. Some Italian banks accept Parmesan* as collateral for loans.
