Connection confusion

Connecting an XPS to nac272;

1. Which direction the burndy, is the 272 the source?
2. Nac power cable connected or not?

Sorry but I don't find the ref manual that good when it comes to cable direction etc.

The collar should always goes to the the source, likley it will make a difference so worth observing

You'd really think that the dealer would ensure that the customer was confident of how to connect the XPS as part of taking £3,700 off them......

272 is source, so gets the collar end

No mains connection required to the back of the 272.

The manual could indeed be more explicit on this.

Yes, directional collar always closest to the source - so in this case the NAC-N272.

If you have an XPS2 connected to the NAC-N272 then you should remove the mains lead from the NAC-N272.

Note that the earlier XPS should not be used with the NAC-N272, make sure it is an XPS2 or XPS2 DR.

This is all detailed in the NAC-N272 Quick Start Guide for initial setup and connection.

Thanks all. Yes it's a DR version.
