Is it possible to set the duration of an alarm?

Hi,

I have been using my uniti2 as morning call for years and I am very happy with it.  The only question is that I seem not able to set the duration of an alarm.  The default duration seems to be 30 minutes and the Uniti2 will go mute after that unless I do something to it, like adjust volume or so.

What I need is that the Uniti2 will keep working for exactly one hour so that I can finish local morning news and when I leave home after that hour, it will go mute automatically.  I guess that Naim could do something to the firmware so that users can set the duration of the alarm.  Any suggestions?

Regards

Sorry that no one responded.  Would the Naim staff on this forum regard this as a new user request please?

Hi Liu,

I had the same question about 12 months ago. As far as I know there is no way to extend the alarm unless you either press a button on the remote or touch the flashing Naim logo. I did suggest that this be looked at when beta testing the latest streamer firmware but Imdont think there are any plans to improve it.

Thank you Paul for your input.  I totally agree with you that Naim had better look into this when developing next version of firmware.
