Tellurium Q Black Interconnect

Posted by: essezeta on 13 October 2015

What about the a.m interconnect cable, DIN/DIN configuration, obviously compared to HiLine? Has somebody tested it and choosed it as definitive cable?

I currently use an HiLine between my CDX2 and SN2, but recently I moved to Tellurium Q Black (speakers cables) from NAC A5. So, I'm seriously evaluating of adding an interconnect cable of the same brand, too.

Good idea, in my opinion, if family sound matters, isn't it?

Thanks and regards,

Stefano

I haven't compared them directly but heard them both.

Actually I've been using ARSound Lunar for the past two years. I compared it with Hi-Line back then and Hi-Line was way too hard and clinical sounding for my setup (Naim DAC - SN2 + HCDR) so I ended up with ARSound. Now few days ago I picked up Tellurium Q Black DIN-DIN for test since a fellow audiophile is selling one. What an awesome cable, really. All the separation and details are there with added punch and clarity to the bottom end. Still highs sound sweet and not too forward at all. I immediately knew I'd replace the ARSound with Tellurium Q Black and confirmed my choice by reconnecting ARSound. It just doesn't match TQ, bottom end gets muffled and separation is way worse.
