Tidal free trial

All went smoothly with muso. Just want to check during login I was directed to naim site which showed a code re 3 month trial. Never saw anywhere to redeem it. Signed up hi fi and no monies taken. Can I assume that the code is automatically applied as I can find nowhere to check if I am on the 3 month trial thanks

Try logging in on a normal Tidal web page using your email/password. You should then be able to access your account details and check when you are due to make your 1st payment. If it's 2016 sounds like it went to plan!

You might need to do this from a pc or Mac as I had the same issue but could not access account details from an iPad. I think you'll find it's automatically applied but some indication of this would be useful at the point of sign up.

IIRC the sign-up journey did at some point state that the code would be automatically redeemed

Agreed - it was my only niggle with the update process - would have been good to have something flagging the free trial has been accepted at the point of setting up the free trial- without having to go into account setting and subscription details.

You're right, but in defense of the people who were unsure if it had been applied, I've had many occasions where I've been told a discount will be applied but when you get to check out the full price is on the item.

Just signed up but this involved putting in my credit card details assuming that all free trials rely on the hope that you forget to cancel. From my crap- Pad I've no idea if I'm being charged now or in three months time. i guess I've got to fire up my PC. Oh glory to the 21st Century. 

 

Ps thanks GraemeH. There are times when I'd be lost without this forum. Now going to see if I can access my Tidal account on a PC!

Yep accsessing Tidal via a PC is the way to check your subscription status. Worked for me. Now off to try it out.

Or just Google tidal subscription took the link to tidal.com and checked my account status by logging in. All on my iPad no pc involved.

Enjoying finding my way round Tidal. My internet is very poor which means the sound breaks up now and then but I can live with that knowing it's free for the time being. Listening to DSOM on the Muso.

 

I can see that it'll be a tough decision early next January to decide whether to stay or cancel. I'm still in 1980's mode on my CDX2/282/300 system. A house move planned for next year means getting a streaming device is a low priority. 

 

If if nothing else I know I'll discover some new albums on Tidal that I can try and track down. I had a short listen to a Keith Richards track yesterday. Sounded great so of to search for the CD.

Hello,

Yesterday I updated my ND5 XS and activated Tidal but somehow I missed the 3 month free code. 

 I think I saw it pop up during set up but I was foolishly doing it all in a bit of a fluster and didn't note it down.........

Does anyone know if it is stored somewhere or how I can redeem it.

Any tips appreciated

Hello me again.......

It seems as if it has worked automatically somehow - just checked my subscription on the Tidal website and it says that it will renew in February 2016....so 1st 3 months must be added.

Was a bit trigger happy on the forum - apologies.
