lost DAB stations

NDX has lost large number of DAB stations mostly national. Had new external aerial replaced no difference. Will change internal aerial lead next but failing that anyone else had similar problems? Thanks
I haven't heard if this being a problem, but then I don't know of many Naim users who use DAB.
It would be worth checking whether there is a problem with DAB in your area. For example you can check what is going on with BBC transmitters, including the national DAB multiplexes at https://ukfree.tv/extras/BBC_Engineeering (I hope that link doesn't break the forum rules.) i would probably unscrew the F connector on the NDX end of the DAB aerial lead and make sure there isn't a short circuit between the inner and the screen.
Assuming the lead is ok and there is is no problem with your local DAB transmitter, and assuming restarting your NDX doesn't help, then I would next try rescanning DAB. If that doesn't bring the national services back, I would go in search of another DAB receiver and see if they are ok on that. if that is ok and your NDX still isn't, then I would try a factory reset of the NDX and then a rescan.
If none of that helps and assuming that FM and iradio are ok, so the tuner module in the NDX seems to be ok, then we will need to think further.
i hope this gives you some ideas of things to try.

David I have experienced this too on my NDX once before. There are 40 DAB stations available on my local transmitters around Norwich and after a rescan as few as 19 have shown up. As the other David has suggested I did a factory reset followed by a rescan and all 40 stations were back in the list of available stations. Hope that works for you. It will be interesting to see whether the problem re-occurs with the new 4.4 firmware.
Update .. I have just performed a DAB rescan on my NDX with 4.4 firmware and out of the available 40 stations in my area (Norwich) only 10 were stored... so I needed to do a factory reset to get them all into the memory.
Thank you both for the replies. Yes the factory reset did work. I'm still a bit peeved though that my 'lowly' car radio can pick up far far more stations than my somewhat more expensive Naim equipment.
I'm glad you have sorted it out.
Regarding your peeved feeling, DAB and FM is a £300 option on the NDX, so quite a small part of the total cost of the unit. Not unlike that the DAB in your car is probably quite a small part of the total cost too.
And I suspect that in a car the DAB receiver is designed for sensitivity, hence all available MUXs are accessible, after a fashion at least, whereas in the Naim equipment, they probably focus on sound quality and don't worry so much about sensitivity.
Nevertheless I would have expected that if you can pick up a MUX in your car parked outside your house, your NDX should be able to do the same on an external aerial providing it's installed properly. So maybe it would be worth looking into your aerial system and feeder a bit further, if you are missing a DAB station on your NDX that you want to listen to on it.

David I live less than 10 miles from my DAB transmitters and the signals are 100% strength so I do not think that lack of signal is the issue we are experiencing here.. it would seem there may be a glitch in the firmware which is very annoying as you have to completely reprogram all your settings and presets after a factory reset.
I have post your comments to the beta forum, I'm prett sure Naim will check if there is an annoying bug.
Please keep this thread updated.
Many thanks for that Bicela.. it does seem to be a recurring problem.
